From 1998 to 2003, JARED MK captivated audiences armed with only his acoustic guitar and one of the most emotive voices you might ever hear. Starting his journey playing cafés and venues across the East Coast, he honed his craft and stage presence, eventually opening for the legendary Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) at a balloon festival in New Jersey.

Hundreds of shows later, in 2006 Jared transitioned to writing and recording across every genre you can imagine. A one-of-a-kind multi-instrumentalist, his compositions have been featured on MTV’s True Life, Two-A-Days, Engaged and Underage, and more — including Pretty Little Liars, Mad Daily, and others.

Today, JARED MK is exploring new sounds and production techniques that stretch his vocal style and push his ever-evolving music forward — inviting listeners to join him on an incredible journey that has shaped his life for decades.

He currently lives just outside Portland, Oregon, with his partner Kelly and their two corgis, Bert and Bodhi.
